Is Karate for me?

Absolutely - Karate is for everyone of all abilities and here at Kazoku Shotokan karate we provide a welcoming environment to enjoy your learning. So if you are up for trying something new or returning to a dojo after a break, please do come along.

Is Karate training dangerous?

Not at all - Practicing karate does involve an element of sparring and even a little contact. However our experienced instructors at Kazoku Shotokan Karate ensure this is all done in a very safe environment, with safeguarding at the heart of everything we do.

How long does it take me to get a blackbelt?

Essentially no time at all.... Amazon sells loads of them..... However if you want to earn your black belt, it will take several years of dedicated training and practice. Here at Kazoku Shotokan Karate we are lucky to have highly experienced and knowledgeable instructors who will be able to guide you so when you are ready to take Black Belt, you will be fully prepared.
